Rogue Valley art galleries: July 3

American Trails: The gallery, located in the Columbia Hotel, 250 E. Main St., Ashland, features art and crafts of the indigenous peoples in North and South America. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Masks are not required by visitors; all staff members will be masked, and hand sanitation will be offered at the door. Art du Jour Gallery: See artwork by students of professional artist Charity Hubbard in the exhibit “Charity Hubbard and Associates.” The gallery, located at 213 E. Main St., Medford, will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Private viewings are available outside open business hours by reservation. Masks are required to visit the gallery. Art & Soul Gallery: The gallery, at 247 E. Main St., Ashland, will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Paintings by featured artist Eric Peterson will be displayed. Art Presence Art Center: 22 members of the art center’s Artist Workshop will participate in the “Summer Daze” exhibit. Look for watercolor, acrylic, and oil paintings, photography, fabric art and sculptures. The gallery, located at 206 N. Ashland Art Works: See the work of 14 local artists, in a variety of mediums including woodwork, fiber arts and garden art. The art collective, at 291 Oak St., Ashland, will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and by appointment. Masks are required to visit the gallery. Gallerie Karon: The gallery, located at 500 A St., Suite 1, Ashland, features vintage textiles and jewelry, antiques, art and furnishings. The featured July exhibit will be “Images Thru the Eye of the Photographer,” featuring the photography work of Judy Benson LaNier, Jim Langhoffer, Jamie Lusch, Pam Danielle, Jesse Widener, Todd Davis, Ken Deveney, Andi Taylor, Steve Dieffenbacher, and others. The gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Masks are required to visit the gallery, and hand sanitation will be available. Gallery One: Located downstairs in the Grants Pass Museum of Art, 229 S.W. G St., Grants Pass, the gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. See mixed media work by featured artist Marjett Schille will be on display July 2-31. Please note that while the gallery is open, the museum remains closed. Hanson Howard Gallery: The gallery, located at 89 Oak St., Ashland, features works in an array of mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics and fine art prints. The gallery will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and by appointment. Masks are required to visit the gallery, and hand sanitation will be available. Houston’s Custom Framing and Fine Art: Gallery artists will exhibit their work including paintings and fine art prints by Thomas Houston, Chine Colle etchings by Yugi Hiratsuka, aquatint etchings by Stephen McMillan and paintings by Erin Lee Gafill trhough the month of July. The gallery, located at 280 E Hersey St #11, Ashland, will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and by appointment. Masks will be worn by staff, but are not required for visitors. Rogue Gallery & Art Center: The gallery, at 40 S. Bartlett St., Medford, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
