American Trails: The gallery, located in the Columbia Hotel, 250 E. Main St., Ashland, features art and crafts of the indigenous peoples in North and South America. Art du Jour Gallery: See exhibits by 17 local artists in myriad mediums such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen & ink, Conté crayon, collage, sculpture, photography, mixed media and more. Art & Soul Gallery: During the month of October, see pastel paintings by Carla J. Griffin in the exhibit “Through the Window.” The gallery, which features art in a variety of mediums by regional artists and is located at 247 E. Art Presence Art Center: The gallery will hold its eighth annual Halloween exhibit, “Imaginarium: Reality or Illusion,” through October 31. The show features artworks from local artists, including paintings, 3-D assemblages, sculpture, textile art, ceramics and more. Ashland Art Works: The gallery features work of local artists in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, woodwork, fiber arts and garden art. Throughout the month of October see textile work by Claudia Law and woodwork by John Weston. The October exhibition, “Faces Hidden and Revealed,” features masks and puppets from around the world. Ranging from two inches to four feet, face, helmet, and shoulder masks are included. Grants Pass Museum of Art: The museum, located upstairs, at 229 S.W. G St., Grants Pass, features work by local and regional artists. Schneider Museum of Art: Southern Oregon University’s Schneider Museum of Art has reopened for in-person viewing. See the new exhibit “A Shrine for a Shrine,” featuring art by Bruce Burris.
