‘Spotlight on Bobby Darin’: Camelot will open its 2022 season with an Exclusive Spotlight presentation on the American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, impressionist and actor Bobby Darin, whose combination of brashness, good looks and talent made him one of the nation’s leading singers of popular songs. He performed jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing and country music. Darin started his career as a songwriter for Connie Francis and recorded his first million-selling single, “Splish Splash” in 1958. Camelot’s tribute to Bobby Darin will include songs such as “Beyond the Sea,” “Dream Lover,” “Splish Splash,” “Mack the Knife,” “Things,” “Clementine,” “I Ain’t Sharin’ Sharon” and many more. Directed by Karl Iverson and starring Austin Kelly. Performances are set for 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays through Jan. 29, and at 2 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 9-30. Regular tickets are $20 to $38.
