OSF's Festival Noons
Noon-hour activities for Oregon Shakespeare Festival patrons include lectures by company artists and visiting presenters; Preface Plus, or longer versions of OSF's play prefaces; informal park talks with company members; and panel discussions, demonstrations, concerts, workshops and more.
Free park talks are in the Bill Patton Garden, outside of Gate 1 of the Elizabethan Stage. All other events are in Carpenter Hall on Pioneer Street. Tickets for events at Carpenter Hall cost $8, $7 for members and $6 for ages 6 through 17. See osfashland.org or call the OSF box office at 482-4331.
Friday, Sept. 4 — Lecture: "Macbeth and Magic," by Jennifer Lee Carrell, scholar and novelist.
Saturday, Sept. 5 — Lecture and demonstration: "Shakespeare As Originally Performed: Patrick Tucker's Original Shakespeare Company and London's Shakespeare's Globe," by Don Weingust, Southern Oregon University.
Sunday, Sept. 6 — Park Talk: Kathleen F. Leary, archivist.
