Drought Discussion: A community meeting about drought conditions will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Rogue River Room of the Southern Oregon University Stevenson Union, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd. Representatives from the city of Ashland and local agencies such as the Talent Irrigation District, Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District and the Water Resources Department will be on hand to increase awareness about the seriousness of the drought and water conservation resources available through city programs.
