Author Book Signing: Marilyn Kilpatrick will sign copies of her self-published memoir "The World is My Oyster, Travels With a Cheapskate" from noon to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Zoey's Cafe, 199 E. Main St., Ashland. Kilpatrick has kept journals of her adventures across the country and around the world since 1969, and has settled in Fort Jones, Calif.
