Death with Dignity Q&A: Compassion & Choices will offer an educational event about Oregon's Death with Dignity law from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. Native Plant Society Meeting: The Siskiyou Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon will hold a holiday potluck, talk and silent auction from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Talent Community Center, 206 E. Main St., Talent. Jeff Jones, co-author of "Arctic Sanctuary: Images of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge," will give a talk about photographing the Arctic. Bring a potluck dish, table service, packets of seeds for the native plant seed exchange and a food donation for the Talent Food Project. Call 541-535-5355.
