Holiday Music Sing-a-Long: Tish McFadden-Harriss and young ukelele players from the Rum Tum School of Music will perform a family Holiday Sing-A-Long from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd. Percussion instruments will be available for children to play along, and participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments. Medford Christmas Lights Tour: Enjoy the holiday lights and decorations around our valley from the comfort of an RVTD bus. The meeting time is 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14. The tour will begin at 5:45 p.m. The pickup and drop-off site is at Santo Community Center, 701 N. Columbus Ave., Medford. The cost is $3 per person. The limit is minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 30. Preregistration is required. Ages 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. To register, visit the community center or call 541-774-2400.

Ringing in Christmas: First Presbyterian Church of Medford will hold its 11th annual "Ringing in Christmas" handbell concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at the church, 85 S. Holly St. The performance will include the handbell choirs of First Presbyterian Church, the St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Ascension Lutheran Church and Rogue Valley Adventist Academy. The program will include contemporary and traditional Christmas carols. Donations will be accepted to cover event expenses and to support the church's food bank. Call 541-944-6841.

Staged Reading: Thanks for the Memories Theatre Company will present a staged reading of local playwright Peter Wickliffe's original true story of Christmases past, "Christmas As It Was" at 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at 1287 Oak St., Ashland. The play is drawn from Wickliffe's own memories growing up in a somewhat dysfunctional family of seven in 1995. Tickets are $6, and are available at Paddington Station and www.tftmtheatre.com.
