Rogue Community Health awarded federal grant
Rogue Community Health received a $24,116 federal grant for its use of electronic medical records and improved standards.
The center, formerly known as Community Health Center, was one of 28 federally qualified health centers in the state recognized for improvement measures and electronic record utilization. CEO William North said in a news release that the facility has been fine-tuning to improve access for patients and operate more efficiently.
North said RCH used its first ever scorecard, called the "balanced scorecard," as a way to gauge how the organization was doing on meeting its goals. According to the scorecard, 86 percent of RCH's federal clinical measures improved compared to 2013 numbers.
