Esquivel named vice-chairman of veterans committee
State Rep. Sal Esquivel, R-Medford, has been selected by House Speaker Tina Kotek to serve as the vice-chairman of the Veterans and Emergency Preparedness Committee and to serve as a member of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and Business and Labor Committee.
Esquivel has been active in veterans' issues, including efforts to build a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Medford. The replica would be the first of its kind on the West Coast.
