LWV Presentation: Land use advocate Greg Holmes will present "Rogue Valley Food System Network" at the League of Women Voters meeting at noon Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Medford library, 205 S. Art Exhibit: Two exhibits — "Baker's Dozen" and "New Works: Schneider Museum of Art Collection 2012-2014" — will be displayed through March 14 at the Schneider Museum at Southern Oregon University, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. "Baker's Dozen" features work by SOU Creative Arts faculty David Bithell, Cody Bustamante, Miles Inada, Peg Sjogren, Robin Strangfeld and visiting professors Rene Allen, Brooks Dierdorff, Summer Ventis and Ben Waterman. The artists will discuss a range of topics during lectures at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 12, 19, 26 and March 5. JPR Event: More than 35 wineries will be represented at Jefferson Public Radio's 34th annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Ashland Springs Hotel, 212 E. Main St. Restaurants and caterers will provide culinary creations, and there will be live music by bluegrass band Eight Dollar Mountain and flamenco-style guitarists Grant Ruiz and Dan Fellman. Internet Safety Presentation: Crime prevention specialist Ron Kohl and the Ashland Police Department will present "Understanding the Internet and Safety Tips" at 1 and 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at The Grove, 1195 E. Main St., Ashland. Each of the two sessions will cover basics of how the Internet works, how to determine whether a site is secure, ways to stay secure surfing the Internet and email safety tips. Ashland High School Student Art Show and Sale: Students will show their work during an art show and sale from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, in the Ashland High School Mountain Theatre lobby, 201 S. Mountain Ave. Items include art cards, paintings, drawings and photography. Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free. The sale will raise money for a trip to San Francisco art museums. Piano Demonstration: Artistic piano will hold an open house at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at 1390 Biddle Road, No. 107, Medford. The evening will feature "Musical Moments," a group piano lesson program geared toward adult beginners.
