The winner will get a round trip to Washington, D.C., where winning works from around the country will be displayed. The winner also will have a reception.
Runners-up in the contest will be recognized locally and have their pieces hung in one of Walden's offices in Medford, Bend, La Grande or Hood River.
To enter, students must submit photos of their pieces and a student information release form to Lizzie Litzow at Elizabeth.email@example.com by April 21. All forms and more information are available at http://walden.house.gov/art-competition.
