Spring Whale Watching Week starts Saturday

The annual Spring Whale Watch Week starts Saturday, March 21 and runs through Saturday, March 28, at 24 designated whale-watching sites along the coast, including Harris Beach State Park and Cape Ferrelo in Southern Oregon.

Oregon Parks and Recreation Department will have trained volunteers at the sites from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily to help visitors spot migrating gray whales, and teach about migration and feeding habits.

A map of all the sites is available at www.whalespoken.org.
