Ashland Rotary plans Easter egg hunt
The Easter Bunny visits Lithia Park at noon Sunday, April 5, then kids can hunt for eggs near the tennis courts in an Easter tradition sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ashland.
The Easter Bunny will arrive at noon, followed by the egg hunt at 1 p.m. Organizers remind families to arrive early as the mad dash for eggs only lasts a few minutes.
There are 255 dozen eggs along with candy and two golden eggs, good for special prizes, in each of five age groups. The age groups are 2 years and younger, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years and 9-10 years.
Willamette Egg Farm provides the eggs, which are then boiled and dyed by Southern Oregon University’s dining hall staff. This is Rotary's 56th annual Easter egg hunt in Lithia Park.
