MailTribune.com rolls out new calendar

The Mail Tribune has launched a new online community calendar.

Whether you are looking for something fun to do or want to let everyone know about your event, head to www.mailtribune.com/calendar.

Click the "Events" heading to check out a list of hundreds of upcoming events. Searching by date, location, type of event or keyword is easy, too. No log-in is required.

To add an event to the calendar, users will have to complete a short registration process, providing a name and email address, then setting a password. This isn't the same as the log-in that enables subscribers or registered users to read articles on our site.

Registered calendar users simply click on the “add an event” box in the upper right corner of the calendar page and fill in the required fields. Event organizers can add photographs, Web links and other details. Approved events will appear on the online calendar.

Users can log in anytime to edit or update the events they have submitted to the online calendar. Entering an event once will enable both Mail Tribune and Daily Tidings readers to see your event.

To get event information into the newspaper, email details to news@mailtribune.com if it is of general interest. Send arts and entertainment listings to tempo@mailtribune.com

If you need additional help using the new online calendar, email Web Editor aburke@mailtribune.com or support@eviesays.com.
