Karen Lovely

Portland blues singer Karen Lovely and her band will perform a mix of contemporary and old-school blues at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, at RoxyAnn Winery, 3285 Hillcrest Road, Medford. Lovely shot onto the blues scene in 2010, placing second at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn., followed by three 2011 Blues Music Award nominations for best contemporary blues female artist, best contemporary blues album and best song. Alicia Viani & Mark Karwan

Singer and songwriter Alicia Viana and acoustic bassist Mark Karwan will perform jazzy, bluesy folk songs at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, at Public House, 248 A St., Ashland. Along with self-penned tunes, the Bend duo will perform covers by Neil Young, Dirty Projectors and other artists. Admission is free.

Rogue Rage Duo

Harmonica player Harpo DeRoma and slide guitar and Dobro player Dan Tiller will perform Delta blues-style original duets and covers by Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Bukka White and others at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at Belle Fiore Winery, 100 Belle Fiore Lane (off Dead Indian Memorial Road), Ashland. DeRoma and Tiller have worked as a duo a little over a year — with much success. They've been selected by the Cascade Blues Association to represent the Northwest in late January at the 2016 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn. Beekman House Victorian Christmas

Experience a Victorian Christmas during tours that begin every 15 minutes between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, and Sunday, Dec. 27, at the historic Beekman House, 470 E. California St., Jacksonville. Docents in Victorian costumes will share the origins of many popular Christmas traditions along with stories of Beekman family and Jacksonville festivities in the late 1800s, as well as the English origins of Boxing Day. 'A Christmas Carol'

Oregon Cabaret Theatre sets Charles Dickens' classic story in a steampunk-style, neo-Victorian world in London, complete with live music and futuristic elements in costume and set designs. The story follows Ebenezer Scrooge's emotional journey to redemption on one fateful Christmas Eve with the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. Curtain is at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 26-27, and Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 29-31. Matinees are set for 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 26-27.
