'A Day of Saxophone': Classical saxophonist and saxophone professor Otis Murphy at Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 405 S. Mountain Ave., Ashland. SOU faculty and saxophonist Rhett Bender will join Murphy to present composer Steve Galante's "The Pawn." Murphy's wife, Haruko, will provide piano accompaniment.
