Lithia Park Nature Walks: Walk with naturalists through Lithia Park and learn about plants, trees, animals, water, geology and history at 10 a.m. Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays through Sept. 30. Ashland International Folk Dancers: The group meets every Friday at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, for dances from Eastern and Western Europe, Greece, Scandinavia, Israel, Turkey and the Middle East. Kayak and Paddleboard Demonstration: Northwest Outdoor Store representatives will hold a kayak and stand-up paddleboard demonstration to allow people to test out many models from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 29, near the Greensprings Spur boat ramp, 375 Old Greensprings Highway, Ashland, at Emigrant Lake. Jefferson State Choral Coalition: The choir, directed by Kirby Shaw, will present a program of music celebrating America's gospel music at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 29, in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 405 S.
