Horror film to start, end Saturday in Talent

The Southern Oregon Filmmakers team, headed by Ray Nomoto Robison, will shoot a short horror film at The Talent Club in Talent on Saturday, June 25, between the hours of 5:15 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The film will be entered in the 24-Hour Film Race (www.filmracing.com), an annual international competition in which competitors are given 24 hours to create a film from scripting to final edit. A mystery theme, prop, and action assignment will be unveiled the evening the competition begins, giving the team just a few hours to put them together in a script, assemble their crew, and craft a competition-worthy short film.

Progress on this year’s entry will be posted on the Southern Oregon Filmakers Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SOfilmracers/?pnref=story.

The final film will also be submitted to the Klamath Independent Film Festival and the Killer Valley Horror Film Festival. Last year’s entry can be seen at vimeo.com/130693794.
