Lithia Park Nature Walks: Walk with naturalists through Lithia Park and learn about plants, trees, animals, water, geology and history at 10 a.m. Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays through Sept. 30. Additional walks are Saturdays in July and August. Meet at the park entrance on Winburn Way across from the downtown Ashland Plaza. Panel Discussion: Tying in with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's production of the play "Roe" this season, a panel of interfaith spiritual leaders will discuss the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion and how they support and counsel the decisions of their members. The talk is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, in Carpenter Hall on the OSF campus, 15 S. Pioneer St., Ashland. Tickets are $12 or $8 for those ages 17 and younger. Art Reception: An opening reception for the exhibit "Portland2016: A Biennial of Contemporary Art" is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 15, at the Schneider Museum of Art, located uphill from the intersection of Indiana Street and Siskiyou Boulevard on the Southern Oregon University campus, Ashland. Cuckoo's Nest Cellars will pour wine. The museum is showing curated art by artists from Portland and Eugene. The exhibit runs through Sept. 17. Eugene-based  artist Mike Bray's work spans video, installation and printmaking. David Eckard is an artist based in Portland who uses fabricated objects, drawings, paintings, prints, installations and performances. Brenna Murphy is a Portland-based artist who creates unique, digitally-manipulated works that suggest strange, psychedelic visual experiences. Storm Tharp works and lives in Portland, where he creates the characters in his mysterious paintings. Giles Lyon is a Portland-based artist who creates expansive colorful paintings and detailed ink drawings. Green Show: The Oregon Shakespeare Festival hosts free Green Show performances at 6:45 p.m. six nights each week except Mondays through Oct. 16 on its outdoor Courtyard Stage at its Ashland campus, 15 S. Pioneer St. The Red Panda Acrobats will perform on Friday, July 15. Diverse performers for the 117 shows include Ashland Taiko, NANDA, Misner & Smith, BROTHER, Dancing People Company, the Curtain Climbers Aerial Dance Company, Cedric Lamar, the OSF House Band, Cassie Fetty and the Gals of Country Music, the Bathtub Gin Serenaders, Hamfist and the Rogue Valley Gospel Choir. Future of Spirituality: Matthew Fox, the renowned theologian, scholar and spiritual maverick will be speaking at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. Fox is known for taking on patriarchal religion, advocating for a creation-centered spirituality of compassion and justice, and calling for re-sacralizing the earth. 'An Enchanted Evening': Flutist Katheryn McElrath and pianist Martin Majkut will join talents for a recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 16, and 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E. Nevada St., Ashland. The program will highlight works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Claude Debussy, Georges Bizet and other composers. HOLUS BOLUS: The One-Man-Psychedelic-Acoustiloop musician will perform his one-of-a-kind show at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Oberon's Tavern, 45 N. Main St., Ashland. HOLUS BOLUS is one person, Tom Boylan, and he performs live looping with an acoustic guitar and small drum kit. Laying down one layer at a time this multi-instrumentalist creates the sound of a full band that mixes rock, reggae, grooves, jams and spacey swirls.
