Ed Dunsavage Trio: The trio — guitarist Ed Dunsavage, bassist Joe Cohoon and drummer Chicken Hirsh — will celebrate its new album, "Homage," at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Paschal Winery, 1122 Suncrest Road, Talent. The album is the trio's first recording in 17 years and pays homage to some of the great jazz guitarists. Admission is $25 and includes the CD. Preschool Puppet Theatre: See what Brenda Bear and friends are up to at 10:30 a.m. the second Friday of every month at North Mountain Park Nature Center, 620 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Ashland International Folk Dancers: The group meets Fridays at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, to perform dances from Eastern and Western Europe, Greece, Scandinavia, Israel, Turkey and the Middle East. Winter Fine Arts Festival: Ashland High Arts Advocates - a booster club of parents, alumni and students - will host the 26th annual Winter Fine Arts Festival on Friday, Dec.8, in the school's Mountain Avenue Theatre, 201 S. Mountain Ave. The event is a showcase of students' work in music, theater, dance, digital and fine arts,emergent media and culinary arts. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a silent auction, art exhibits and dinner. Performances begin at 7 p.m. Actor David Kelly of the Southern Oregon Shakespeare Festival will be master of ceremonies. Siskiyou Singers: The choir, directed by Mark Reppert, will present "Alleluia!
