ROSEBUD ORIGINAL COMMENTARY: Larry Mendte on Biased Media and Raw Politics
The Mueller Report was released and it confirms that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election, no less than 25 individuals in all. You'd think that would be the top headline, or at least a prominent headline, but it is hard to find in the wall-to-wall coverage since Thursday. You would think the United States government -- certainly the White House and the Congress -- would be hard at work making sure that never happens again. As Larry Mendte offers in this Rosebud Original Commentary, you might think that, but you'd be oh so wrong about the way things are working in Washington, D.C. politics and the national media, most especially the cable talk channels these days which have surrendered what was once hours of news reporting to endless hours of cheaply-produced studio guest formats with predictable debates. As Larry Mendte has told us before and tracked over the past year, we are not watching justice at work, but political theatre, and the race for raw political power. Watch this latest commentary from Larry, then let us know what you think.
