Police are on the hunt for a person who robbed a bar on Saturday night.

At about 10:14 p.m. Saturday, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety responded to a report of an armed robbery at Lucky Lizard, located at 261 Rogue River Highway.

An unknown male suspect entered the bar, displayed a gun and demanded money from the cash register. Once he received an undisclosed amount of cash from an employee, he fled the business, police said.

The suspect was described as wearing a black hooded jacket with a hat. Witnesses didn't know whether he left on foot or in a vehicle, or which direction he was heading. The area was searched with the help of a police K9.

Grants Pass detectives are continuing to investigate.
