Hundreds braved chilly water Saturday morning at the Rogue Valley Country Club to take a plunge for Special Olympics. The annual event raises money for Special Olympic athletes of all ages for training, equipment, travel, uniforms, and other support. Last year more than $500,000 was raised throughout the state of Oregon in similar events. Saturday's event featured a costume contest, music, food, and plenty of wet fun for everyone.
