Taco Tuesday to benefit Habitat for Humanity

Memo’s Kitchen, 1124 Court St., Medford, will sell street-style tacos from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, to raise money for Habitat for Humanity Rogue Valley.

All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing for people who work alongside volunteers and other community members to build their own homes.

Each taco will cost $1.50.

Habitat for Humanity staff and board members will serve as the wait staff. Tips are welcome and will be donated to the nonprofit.

Restaurant owner Guillermo “Memo” Sanchez and his children were selected as the recipients of a Habitat home in 2010.

Last year’s Taco Tuesday fundraiser at Memo’s Kitchen raised more than $2,000 to support local affordable housing.
