Mt. Ashland to host OISRA finals

Mt. Ashland Ski Area will host the Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association state championships Wednesday, March 4, through Friday, March 6, marking the first time since 2016 that the mountain will host the annual event for high school skiers.

The OISRA state championships is one of several events Mt. Ashland is scheduled to host over the next three weeks.

Also this month on the mountain:

  • Siskiyou Sisterhood Day, featuring a day of women-specific activities including yoga, ski clinics and an apres ski event, will be held Saturday, March 7.
  • The last Midwinter Jam, featuring the Reverberays playing in the ski lodge, will be held 5-9 p.m. Friday, March 13.
  • The Screamin’ Lizard family fun races will be held Sunday, March 13.
  • The Dummy Dowhill, featuring dummies launched off a massive jump, will be held Sunday, March 16.
  • Spring break daily operations, from Saturday, March 21 through Monday, March 30, costs $25 for weekday tickets. Each weekday features a costume theme and the free hourly mountain shuttle will run to the mountain from Ashland daily.
