Update: Missing Portland teen found safe
Update: the Oregon Health Authority says 16-year-old Mataya Gearhart has been found, according to a release issued Saturday afternoon.

The Oregon Department of Human Services is asking the public's help in locating a missing teenager from the Portland area who may be in Southern Oregon, according to a Friday news release.
Mataya Gearhart, age 16, is a foster child who went missing the night of Monday, May 26, DHS said.
"She is believed to be in critical danger and may be held against her will," the release said. No further details were immediately available.
Authorities believe Gearhart may be in Seaside, Oregon with an adult male named "Torry Stewart." She may also be in Southern Oregon or Northern California, the release said.
Gearhart is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, DHS said. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Her date of birth is Nov. 7, 2003.
Anyone who believes they have information about Gearhart’s location should call 911 or local law enforcement, DHS said.
