Jackson County reports 15 new cases

Jackson County Public Heath reported 15 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 Sunday, increasing the county’s total to 385, including 50 in the past three days.

Sunday’s total comes after Jackson County broke its record for new cases in a single day on back-to-back days and raises the county’s number of cases considered “active infectious” to 120.

The number of Jackson County residents to be hospitalized with COVID-19 stands at 29.

Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported 285 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 Sunday and one death, bringing the state’s number of total cases to 19,097 and death toll to 326.
