Jackson County at 805 COVID-19 cases

Jackson County reported 13 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, raising the county’s total to 805, with 205 cases considered "active infectious."

A previously reported case has been transferred to the appropriate jurisdiction based on the case’s residency, according to Jackson County Public Health.

Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported 269 new COVID-19 cases Sunday with four new deaths,

Oregon’s death toll rose to 458, and the state’s case count rose to 26,554 cases.

The latest COVID-19-related deaths include two 79-year-old residents from Marion County, a 70-year-old Douglas County woman and a 88-year-old Washington County man. All had underlying conditions.

Marion County led the state with 48 new COVID-19 cases, followed by Umatilla County with 41 cases, while 36 cases were reported in Multnomah County, 35 in Washington County, 22 in Malheur County, 16 in Clackamas County, nine in Hood River and Lane counties, eight in Polk County, seven in Morrow County, five in Linn and Benton counties, four in Yamhill County, three in Deschutes and Coos counties, two in Columbia County, and one new case in Lincoln, Sherman and Union counties.
