Gov. Kate Brown has implemented a two-week pause on social activities — in effect Nov. 11 through Nov. 25 — for five counties including Jackson County, which has mirrored a statewide trend of rising COVID-19 cases linked to social gatherings.
Brown’s measures include a pause on long-term care facility visits; reduced indoor restaurant capacity to 50 or fewer customers and staff; maximum restaurant party size of six people; reduced indoor capacity at gyms, bowling alleys, ice rinks, pools and other activity centers; limited social gatherings of no more than six people preferably all from the same household; and recommendation that businesses mandate working from home whenever possible.
