Controlled burn near Mt. Ashland Ski Road scheduled for today
Ashland Forest Resiliency has scheduled a 56-acre controlled burn about 2 miles northwest of the Mount Ashland Interstate 5 exit today.
A 15-person crew will oversee the burn, the first of several controlled burns expected to continue through the spring, as conditions permit. The potential impact for smoke on area roads and trails is low, as a northeast wind is forecast to blow it away from the area.
