Greystone Court hosts annual ACCESS food drive event

The holiday-happy residents of Greystone Court in Medford have outdone themselves once again with a series of stupendous light displays, and their efforts will continue with the 20th annual ACCESS Food and Fund Drive from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, through Christmas Eve.

The street’s residents will accept donations of nonperishable food and cash, which will go to the ACCESS food bank. Attendees will be able to gawk at the elaborate light displays that illuminate every house on the street.

Asante will match up to $5,000 worth of donations. Every dollar donated can provide four meals. ACCESS will also accept secure online donations at www.accesshelps.org, or by text message by texting “Greystone” to 44-321.

In its 20-year history, the event has provided nearly 1.4 million meals to those struggling with food insecurity. More than 4,000 vehicles drive through the cul-de-sac during the annual event.
