You Gotta See This: Vaccines vs Immunity
In clinical trials, both COVID-19 vaccinations proved to be 95% effective against the virus. However, a small percentage of participants still showed symptoms. How is this possible? Well, the body needs time to build up it's immunity even after a vaccine is administered. Participants infect immediately before or after the vaccine is given can still become symptomatic. The vaccine itself does not carry the virus and the CDC still advises everyone to wear their masks, maintain social distance, and wash their hands.
