Senator to hold Jackson County town hall

U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, will hold virtual town halls this week, including in Jackson County at 2:30 p.m., Saturday.

The online event can be accessed at https://www.facebook.com/events/883092525819705.

Wyden will likely field questions about COVID-19, vaccines, the impeachment proceedings, the economy and wildfires that have devastated local cities.

Wyden has been holding online town halls since COVID-19 shut down in-person events last March.

Oregonians can submit questions in advance at https://bit.ly/2N1WoQQ.

Other town halls will be held for Multnomah County on Thursday, for Marion County on Friday and for Douglas County on Saturday.

They will be hosted by Town Hall Project.

Wyden has held 970 in-person town halls statewide, and he has held at least one town hall each year in all of Oregon’s 36 counties.
