Felony arrests

Eluding — Florentino Ray Alvarez Jr., 23, of the 100 block of Laurel Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Alvarez Sunday on one charge of attempting to elude police by vehicle. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Harassment — Leonard Jacob Boyd, 49, no address reported. Medford police arrested Boyd Saturday on charges of disorderly conduct, aggravated harassment and interfering with an officer. He was booked into jail and held on $15,000 bail.

Eluding — Michael Sean Derr, 50, of the 25000 block of Highway 62, Trail. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Derr Saturday on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license and attempting to elude police by vehicle. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance Sunday.

Assault — Gar Joseph Michael Jones, 29, of Eagle Point. Central Point police arrested Jones Sunday on charges of harassment and assault in the fourth degree. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance Sunday.

Firearm — Avisai Torres, 35, no address reported. Medford police arrested Torres Saturday on charges of possessing cocaine and possessing a firearm or ammunition. Torres was booked into jail and released on bail Sunday.

Firearm — Nancy Marizol Villa, 35, no address reported. Medford police arrested Villa Sunday on one charge of possessing a firearm or ammunition and on warrant for failure to appear in court regarding a harassment charge. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance Sunday.
