198 new COVID-19 cases in Oregon
Oregon reported 198 new cases of COVID-19 and four more deaths Thursday.
The state saw 7,241 new cases in June with 63 COVID-19 associated deaths. More than 90% of cases and deaths were among unvaccinated individuals.
In Jackson County, nine new cases were reported Thursday, and Josephine County reported four cases.
As of Thursday, 2,360,737 people in Oregon had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 2,115,776 people had completed the vaccine series. On Wednesday, 4,395 vaccine doses were administered, bringing the seven-day average to 7,514.
On Thursday, 134 people in Oregon were hospitalized because of COVID-19, two fewer than Wednesday, with 27 people in intensive care, four fewer than Wednesday.
