22 new COVID-19 cases in Jackson County
Oregon reported 265 new cases of COVID-19 and two more deaths Friday, pushing the case count to 210,229 and raising the state’s death toll to 2,792.
Jackson County reported 22 new cases, and Josephine County reported 15.
The deaths occurred in Crook and Douglas counties.
Ninety-nine people were hospitalized with COVID-19 Friday, one fewer than Thursday, and 26 people were in intensive care, two fewer than Thursday.
The Oregon Health Authority said 6,920 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were added to the state immunization registry. The seven-day running average is now 5,335 doses per day.
