Josephine County libraries reopen for browsing

Library branches in Josephine County reopen to in-person browsing Tuesday.
Indoor library use resumes at all four branches

Josephine Community Library branches reopen for in-person browsing Tuesday as a summer and fall surge of COVID-19 cases continues to wane.

Patrons will be able to go indoors again at the Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Williams and Wolf Creek branches during regular operating hours.

During Grab & Go hours, patrons can browse library shelves, check out items, use computers and request document printing. Restrooms and seating will be available.

Masks are required, and the number of people who can enter at one time may be limited due to building capacity and social distancing requirements.

During this time, no library programs will be held in-person.

For more information about current library services, visit josephinelibrary.org, send an email to info@josephinelibrary.org, or call 541-476-0571.

Libraries in Jackson County reopened to in-person browsing in early October after being closed due to the COVID-19 surge.

During the closures, libraries in both counties continued to provide books through a pick-up service at library entrances.
