Oregon logs 41 more COVID-19 deaths Tuesday
The Oregon Health Authority reported 1,366 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 41 more COVID-19 related deaths across the state.
Jackson County recorded 56 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and the death of a 97-year-old man who died at his residence. He had underlying conditions.
Among the others who died in Oregon, one was 37, three were in their 40s, three were in their 50s, six were in their 60s, 12 were in their 70s, nine were in their 80s and six were in their 90s, according to OHA.
The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon was 562 Tuesday, which was one more than Monday. There were 130 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which was 10 fewer than Monday, OHA said.
