Jackson County sees 54 more COVID-19 cases

County records three additional deaths

Jackson County logged 54 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday and three more COVID-19 related deaths, the Oregon Health Authority reported.

Statewide, Oregon recorded 1,033 new cases and 75 more COVID-19-related deaths.

Information about those who died, including their ages and counties of residence, wasn’t immediately available. In recent weeks the state had been reporting new COVID-19-related deaths plus past deaths that went unrecorded because of a computer error.

OHA reported Josephine County had 28 new COVID-19 cases and three more deaths.
