Expo vaccine site closed due to weather

The free COVID-19 vaccination drive-thru site at the Jackson County Expo will be closed Thursday due to weather and resume operations on Sunday.

The popular COVID-19 vaccination drive-thru site at the Jackson County Expo will be closed Thursday due to weather, remain closed on its normal closed days of Friday and Saturday, and reopen on Sunday.

COVID-19 testing at The Expo will remain open Thursday.

Both the vaccination and testing services will be closed for the Christmas holiday from Thursday, Dec. 23 through Sunday, Dec. 26.

The regular operating hours of the vaccination site are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 1-4 p.m. on Sundays. Free vaccines are available for everyone age 5 and older and appointments are not required. Initial shots and booster shots are available at the site.

Enter through Gate 1½ at The Expo, 1 Peninger Road, Central Point, for either the vaccination or testing services.

The COVID-19 testing site operates from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. To register, visit curative.com.
