Jackson County reports 104 new COVID-19 cases
Jackson County reported 104 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and two COVID-19-related deaths.
A 74-year-old man died at Providence Medford Medical Center, and a 78-year-old woman died at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, the Oregon Health Authority said.
Oregon reported 1,900 new COVID-19 cases statewide and eight more deaths, including those in Jackson County.
Josephine County reported 32 new COVID-19 cases and the death of a 74-year-old man who died at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, OHA said.
On Tuesday, the four hospitals in Jackson and Josephine counties had two open intensive care unit beds, with 57 full.
Rogue Valley hospitals had 37 open non-ICU hospital beds, with 402 full.
Local hospitals were caring for 70 COVID-19 patients. Of those, 19 were in ICU beds, with 11 on ventilators.
