Jackson County reports 118 new COVID-19 cases
Jackson County reported 118 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday and two more COVID-19-related deaths.
Josephine County reported 13 new cases and no deaths.
Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,160 new COVID-19 cases and 35 more deaths.
As the omicron variant-fueled surge continues to wane, the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Oregon dropped from 597 Tuesday to 579 Wednesday. The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Jackson and Josephine counties dipped from 74 Tuesday to 67 Wednesday, hospitalization data shows.
