Power outages reported across region

National Weather Service estimates the wind conditions should end by around 7 p.m.

Pacific Power is reporting on its website that more than 10,000 customers are without electricity in Southern Oregon and up to Roseburg this afternoon.

As of 2:30 p.m., there were about 660 customers in Medford without power. There have been larger outages reported near Ruch, Applegate, Provolt, Cave Junction, Grants Pass and Myrtle Creek, among other areas, according to the utility company’s online outage map.

Crews are investigating these outages, but most haven’t been able to estimate when power might be restored to these and other areas affected by wind blowing through the region as of about 3 p.m. Saturday.
