The Run Wild - Ashland Color Dash will raise money for the Wildlife Images wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center near Grants Pass, coral reef restoration efforts in Mexico, and a Willow Wind eighth grade graduation celebration.

The one-mile run, which won’t be timed, is Saturday, April 16, at Ashland’s Creekside Campground, 5310 Highway 66, near Emigrant Lake. To give everyone space on the course, the event has four start times: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Runners will get splashed with nontoxic colored powders at checkpoints along the course. A colorful dance party with music and snacks will follow the run.

Registration costs $15, and kids 2 and younger are free. Race T-shirts are available for purchase.
