Jackson County Expo Director Helen Funk and Ali Leffler decided to do something different this year at the Jackson County Fair on July 14-18. Rather than use the Mace Memorial Center as a wildlife reptile exhibit as they’d done in years past, they decided to set up a healing center for Almeda and Obenchain fire victims, and for volunteers and First Responders. The Healing and Dedication center will include photos, displays and even a place to write a heartfelt note.
