Larry Mendte Commentary: Vaccinations
In this RoseBud Commentary, we turn our attention to vaccinations, specifically, vaccinations for the coronavirus.
As Larry Mendte observes, the idea of getting a vaccine has become a political tug-of-war, wrapped in some tangled thoughts about whether it's safe, whether it's necessary, whether it's somehow bending to a government some mistrust. This, of course, is ironic because both then-President Trump representing the Republican Party, and currently President Biden representing the Democrat Party, are each vaccinated and supportive of the American public getting the vaccine. In fact, Trump gave Operation Warp Speed every advantage he could as a president, and democrats scoffed at his speed. But once the vaccines proved effective, the new democrat-led Congress and Biden administration embraced it. Somewhere in the last 7 months or so, some republican voters broke ranks from their leader and refused to get their shots.
Larry Mendte examines why and comes to an inescapable conclusion. See if you agree, then write Larry @mendte and let him know your thoughts. And as always, thank you for watching the RoseBud Channel.
