Commentary: Hispanic Wake Up

There's a general belief that minority votes go to Democrats. The numbers do bare that out, especially in presidential elections of recent years. For example, as you are about to hear, President Obama received 71% of the hispanic vote in 2012. But as Larry Mendte points out in this Commentary, people are people, and we all have common things we worry about, and a political party makes a great mistake if it takes individuals for granted by grouping them into some voting categories. Larry has recent examples ripped from the headlines that illustrate that point, and offers his thoughts about what that means -- and how it could shape politics and the nation -- in this Commentary. We invite you to watch, then let Larry know if you agree or disagree at lmendte@rosebudmedia.com
