ROSEBUD ORIGINAL VIDEO: Raiders Players Talk Championship

With an 8-3 win, the Southern Oregon University Raiders won the 2019 NAIA Softball Championship, but it was anything from conventional.

There was a rain delay for more than eight hours that kept the Raiders off the field after starting the championship game with a 6-3 lead over the first four innings.

Going on to win 8-3 over Oklahoma City, SOU earned the program's first national championship. Click here for the full game recap.

On Monday, the team paraded down Siskiyou Boulevard hoisting the championship trophy. The parade finished at Lithia Motors Pavilion with a pep rally honoring the girls 52-8 record that finished atop the NAIA.
