ROSEBUD ORIGINAL VIDEO: Clean Air Now! NWS Fire Season

Brett Lutz works for the National Weather Service in Medford as a fire weather program manager. Although southern Oregon is in a better place going into fire season than it was last year, there's still cause for concern and residents should not let their guard down. The National Weather Service urges local residents to take care of any preparations, including mowing their grass, cleaning out their gutters and taking care of any dead tree branches that may be an easy target when things inevitably dry out this summer. When the solstice arrives around June 20th and temperatures drop into the 80's it should give locals just enough time to take care of these tasks before it's too late.
